Conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Johnson City, Tennessee, VENUE is easily accessible no matter what part of the Tri-Cities area you are coming from!
In 1928 Sam R. Sells constructed the “Great Five Floor Department Store” at 300 E. Main Street Johnson City, TN. In September of that very same year, the H.P. King Company opened for business and thrived at this location for 56 years. In October 2010, VENUE opened to the public.
Located on the entire second floor of the building, the 10,000 square foot event space offers a rustic, but up-to-date facility for your next event. There were two main objectives while developing VENUE - create an amazing event space which will host a variety of events, and maintain the original character of the structure constructed by Mr. Sells such as the exposed brick and urban views, along with the original maple hardwood.
